Crossword Solver
There often comes a time when I've accepted that I will not solve a crossword, but would like to know what the answer was anyway. So, I made my own crossword solver to help me work out what it might have been. Admittedly, this is reinventing the wheel because I found a fine crossword helper online already, but the interface is unwieldy and it can only cope with words of up to ten letters.
This can cope with input of any length and is case-insensitive, because you write crosswords all in capitals, don't you. To indicate a blank space, type a full stop, space or any other non-alphabetic character. It's a mixture of javascript and php, and it looks up words in a database on the server. The word list is based on the ENABLE2K word list that I used in my online Scrabble game, and so should be suitably comprehensive for all purposes.
